Fida Uganda approached CodeBits Co. Limited with a problem of tracking the progress of different cases and internal activities of the organization. I was assigned to lead a team of 5 developers to design and develop a system that would enable them to track the progress of different cases and internal activities of the organization. The system had different roles and different people in the organization had to interface with the system differently. /n Example of roles includes Legal Aid Officers,Accountants, M&E, Director of Programs(DOP) among others. The system has different features like CRUD operations on cases, clients, lawyers, judges, case tracking, case status, case reports, case statistics, tasks, etc. It was built using React Js, Chakra UI and backend in Node js. I was in charge of the frontend development of the system and also the scrum lead of the team. I made key decisions on the technologies to be used and the architecture of the system. This project enabled me to level up my skills in React Js, Chakra UI, team work among others. Many thanks to CodeBits Co. Limited for trusting me to lead the frontend team on this project.
