Project Details

This is one of the first projects I did in 2019 when I was still in college. Mr. Katuro was my first client who was referred to me by a fellow student after seeing my work on gpa elevator. He wanted to sell his organic products online and I had to come up with a solution to help him do exactly that. I decided to use Wordpress and Woocommerce to accomplish the task as the budget of developing a custom platform was surpassing the client's. I designed the entire website using Wordpress and Woocommerce and also implemented the payment methods using Easy pay plugin. This project enabled me to become a pro on how to use Wordpress and Woocommerce to implement ecommerce stores and also how to use third party libraries to implement payment methods. When we were hit by the deadly Covid-19, The platform made a significant impact in the lives of many people as they were able to order for their organic products online and have them delivered to their door steps. Currently, I'm in the process of redesigning it in Next js to make it more faster and add all the extra features that my client wants.
